FULLMOON DAY CELEBRATION at Nagaloka: 28th July 2018

The programme was held at Nagaloka on 28th July 2018. The purpose of the programme is to remain people why we do celebrate the full moon day and to know the importance. It was lead by Dh. Amoghsiddhik & Dh, Suvirya along with other Dhammacharis like, Padmaveer, Ratnanista, & Nityashree. There were around 300 people attended the programme 150 female and 150 male.  On this occasion Dh. Amogasiddhi gave a talk on the importance of historical Buddha & Sangha. He talked in detailly about in order to;

  • An Importance of Historical Buddha & Buddha’ s teaching for develop sangha.
  • As being as a human being how we can get “Mukti” (Liberation) and leave all “ Karmakand”.
  • How do the committed people develop the sangha through spiritual?
  • When people comes into the dhamma then how they change their lifestyle and live as Buddhist.

People were realizing themselves how spiritual life is important for each of us while listening his talk.  The commend was qualitative and people showed their interested to become a Buddhist.

The workshop on the Buddhist Aesthetics: 21st & 22nd July 2018

The workshop on Buddhist aesthetics was held at Nagaloka on 21st & 22nd July 2018. The purpose of the workshop was to enhance or preach knowledge everywhere. It was facilitated by Prof. Bodhi from TISS. There were around 15 participants attending. On this occasion, Prof. Bodhi gave a talk on Buddhist Aesthetics in his talk he also talked about the characteristic of the aesthetics and how it gives value to human beings. People got an excellence experience from this workshop and participated actively according to their feedback.

Asoka Dhammadutta Retreat at Nagaloka: 16th to 20th July 2018

The Asoka Dhammadutta retreat was held at Nagaloka for five days for those who are taking Dhamma classes in their villages. The purpose of the retreat was to review and evaluate them. Dh. Lokamitra and Dh. Maitriyanath was facilitating the retreat. There were 15 clusters from five states in this retreat and they all got a chance to share their experiences including challenges and how they are facing it. It was a very good platform where everyone got an opportunity to discuss deeply how to teach and face the people in the community while conducting dhamma activities. In the discussion, they had several thoughts to discuss such as; how to work in a team, how to deal with local and community people. they had a discussion about the outcome/Expected Result:

GENERAL RETREAT ; 15th JULY 2018

The general retreat was held at Sambodhi, Nagaloka on 19th August 2018. It was initiated by DH. Tejdarshan & Dh. Prasannabodhi. The purpose of this retreat to deepen the dhamma Mitra’s into the Buddha Dhamma and Sangha. There were around 125 participants female 70 and male 55. On this retreat, Tejdarshan gave a talk about practicing dhamma and precepts. He talked very much about the Buddha’s five precepts in order to;

  • The Importance of Dhamma and Sheela
  • How to follow the “Panchasheel” in day-to-day life.
  • How sheel helps to modify human’s lifestyle
  • How the practicing dhamma is helpful for everyone.

After hearing his talk everyone has the time to discuss about it deeply and gave a feedback about to continue this kind of retreat often. and this retreat ended with thanks for the vote to Tejdarhsan and Prasannabodhi.

The Alumni Retreat at Nagaloka: 8th to 15th July 2018

The retreat was held in Nagaloka from 8th to 15th July 2018. This retreat actually conducted for only NTI Alumni those who have studied the course of Dhammasekhiya from Nagaloka. It was led by Dh. Lokamitra’s and there were almost 160 alumni participated. The purpose of the retreat was to deepen knowledge and share knowledge of Buddhism and Dr. Ambedkar Thoughts. On this occasion, Dh. Lokamitra gave several talks on Bodhisattva ideal of Babasaheb Ambedkar and how its influenced by people. In this retreat, alumni got an opportunity to share their experience and what the understanding of the Bodhisattva’s ideal of Babasaheb Ambedkar. it was very collaborative and everyone was benefitting from the group discussion.  there were several points have discussed in order to;

  • The importance of the Babasaheb Ambedkar’s Bodhisattva idea.
  • The Babasaheb conversion to Buddhism.
  • The Lord Buddha’s six and ten paramitas etc.

17TH BATCH INAUGURATION PROGRAMME FOR DHAMMASEKHIYA; 1st July

“Dhamma Sekhiya course” 17th batch 2018-19 Inauguration ceremony program organized in Buddhsurya vihar at Nagaloka. This program arranged by Nagarjuna Training Institute on 1st of July 2018 at morning 10:30 A.M. Around 250 peoples attended this program as well as lots of people enjoyed this ceremony program. “Dhamma Sekhiya course” 17th batch this inauguration program
Divisional Commissioner social welfare Dr. Siddhartha Gaikwad. And President of this ceremony program Dhamachari Maitreyanath. Principal Dr. Chandu Maskey told that this 17th batch is now in maturity way so this is a good sign for Nagarjuna Training Institute.
Mr. Sanjay Patil was the chief guest of this ceremony program. He told that he can’t speak in front of the number of peoples but he can able to work very well and he likes to work more not to speak. Mr. Sanjay Patil appreciated to Dhamachari Maitreyanath, Dhamachari Pradhnyaratna, Dhamachari Nagamitra. The anchor of this program Dhamachari Tejdarshan he did a wonderful work of Anchoring. Such as Dr. Siddharath Gaikwad told that each of students must read and understand about the constitution as well as president of this ceremony Maitreyanath also told now NTI organization is on the maturity level because 16 years completed so its biggest responsibility that Nagaloka should manage it.
